Dr. Stephen GalileyDr. Galiley is President of the Shalom Institute. He will serve as He is an expert in the borders between Judaism and Christianity serving as Rabbi at Beit Shalom, a Messianic Jewish congregation in Utica, NY.. He received his Doctor of Ministry from Kings University and his Master’s of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Prior to his call to the ministry, he was a recording engineer working in Hollywood, CA. He worked in recording studios that recorded for such luminaries as T-Bone Burnett, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, and Bruce Springsteen. He has a substantive understanding of both the principles, as well as the practical application, of recording engineering. His theological and technical experience will be leveraged as a faculty member.
Dr. Fred FarrokhDr. Fred Farrokh holds a PhD in Inter-Cultural Studies through the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy Analysis from Binghamton University. He has taught graduate level seminary classes at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in the Philippines as well as the Evangel Theological Seminary in the Ukraine. From 1998- 2000, Rev. Farrokh served as the Special Projects Officer for SAT-7, the first Arabic-language, Christian satellite TV channel. His extensive experience enables him to teach courses in the area of inter-cultural studies, contemporary political and social issues, and to discuss and analyze complex topics concerning the Middle East and Muslim world.

Michael EdgarMichael Edgar is a retired Major, U.S. Air Force. His received a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, focused on geo-political intelligence. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Plattsburgh; with a heavy concentration of course work in both philosophy and history. He has over 30 years of successful management and leadership experience to include: executive administrative support, budget and contract management, human resources, physical and information security, and strategic planning as well as leading large and diverse organizations. Mr. Edgar’s military experience spans the spectrum of Air Force operations. He is currently a defense contractor, and has managed profit and loss centers for Serco-NA, Alion Science and Technology, and is currently a Senior Program Manager for Global InfoTek, Inc. He brings extensive leadership skills and solid business experience to the mix, as well as a passion for teaching.

Dr. William J. Hurst
Dr. William J. Hurst holds a Doctorate in Theology from Canada Christian College and received his Ph. D, in Christian Education, from Shalom Bible College and Seminary in Des Moines, Iowa. He also hold a certificate of Diplomate, Certified Psychotherapist and Counselor(D-C.P.C.) and was subsequently honored with a Doctor of Pastoral Counseling.(D.P.C.) Dr. Hurst has also received an honorary Doctor of Divinity as well as being appointed to the Advisory Board of the Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counselors of America. He has been in the ministry over 40 years and it has taken him across the U.S. and Canada, as well as Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He has developed over 60 courses of school curriculum, spanning the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Christopher SchuckDr. Christopher Schuck is a PhD in Mathematics, with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Mathematics. Dr. Schuck has served as an Instructor for a variety of colleges to include Binghamton University, Florida Metropolitan University, and the University of Phoenix as well as others. He also has extensive experience as Principal Engineer, Senior Architect, and Senior Developer across a broad spectrum of commercial organizations in both the private sector as well as the defense industry. He is an accredited Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is also an amateur astronomer. Dr. Schuck will advise the Institute on the composition and rigor of its technical courses, as well as serve as Faculty.
